Fourth of July in Dallas, Texas


On July 4, 1776, we claimed our independence from Britain and democracy in America was born. Since that day, each year on July 4, Americans celebrate that freedom and independence with barbecues, picnics, and family gatherings. One of the most fun and famous parts of that day are the firework shows that occur in the evening in many cities across the United States. Texas is a place, no matter where one is, fireworks will most likely be seen, or at least heard.

Going to a lake, eating watermelon, hamburgers, and hot-dogs is a traditional Texas style of celebration. This weekend many international students will be going to Wyatt's Family Farm for tons of food and fun!
