The Bible charges us to renew our mind in Christ. Rooted in God's love for us, there exists a desire in our faculty to encourage scholarship among our students and to seek wisdom that comes from God. The Lord is at work all around us, and the Global Missions Center will be a spiritual center of discovery for all to become more deeply engaged in the work God is doing through His people around the world.

The life of the mind must be continually cultivated. For all who experience the Global Missions Center, there is awaiting an encounter with God. As the familiar hymn goes, "Here am I, send me Lord, here am I, send me Lord, make my life useful to Thee." Those engaged in activities associated with the Global Missions Center will experience learning opportunities designed to equip God's people to be sent into the harvest, regardless of their vocational calling.
Whether it be inner-city, marketplace, or international ministry, learning activities in the Global Missions Center will remain relevant and attract a broad base of practitioners and scholars who are clearly engaged in the lifestyle of missions and will be able to share with our students and others interested in missions work.

The world needs God's people who demonstrate good judgment and maintain the courage to love others as a matter of second nature. The opportunities for Christian ministry outweigh the supply of those who have answered the call to missions. We must remain diligent in responding to this shortage by preparing those willing to accept the call.
